I am about to begin a very exciting project which will see myself and Fabric Lenny using a range of professional filmmaking techniques, digital media, new technologies and visual arts to capture the journey of a horse drawn canal boat traveling from Leeds to Saltaire, along the Leeds to Liverpool Canal. This is the first time in 60 years that a horse has pulled a canal boat along this stretch of canal and I am very excited to get the opportunity to document it and produce creative works in response to the journey and the canal environment. Whilst investigating the route last week I could not resist taking pictures on my iPhone and I thought I would share a few ahead of the project....keep checking back for more images and further information on the project and the exhibition of produced works.

Snow Monkey Stand Off!!
Here is a montage image I captured at the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie, Scotland. The images were captured on the iPhone and processed on the iPad. I captured hundreds of images at the Wildlife Park, over a few days, but this particular image stood out for me..... the Snow Monkeys were wonderful!

Reindeer and Mountains
Here are some more shots of the Reindeer I encountered on the Cairngorm Mountains, captured on the iPhone and processed on the iPad.
Reindeers on the Cairngorm Mountains
During my recent trip to Scotland I came across a herd of reindeer amidst the snow on the Cairngorm Mountains, which was truly magical. Here are just some of the images I captured with my iPhone.
Beautiful Scotland
I have just got back from a fantastic trip to Scotland where the scenery was amazing and the weather superb...including a few days of thick snow! It was a real treat for me and I was in my element, photographing pretty much everything I saw! I made a decision on the first day that I was going to challenge myself to shoot predominantly on the iPhone and process all images on the iPhone and iPad. This made me look very differently at subjects and capture shots that I may normally have overlooked if using a professional camera with a telephoto lens. By the end of the week I started processing my work into mini series of themed shots...but to begin with I indulged in capturing and processing individual images that I found particularly interesting. Here are a few of my favourites...many more to follow!
