Today I delivered artwork to The LBT for inclusion in The Taste of HOST Exhibition which runs until the 9th September. My work is exhibited in the Foyer alongside work by 37 local artists. This exhibition offers a 'taste' of artists work, to be shared more fully during the HOST Open Studio Trail on the 8th and 9th September at The LBT and at a range of venues throughout Kirklees.

Photography Project featured on iOSsociety.mobi
The photography project I am delivering at Scholes J&I School is currently featured in the education section of iOSsociety.mobi which is very exciting!! The article can be accessed through the archive button on the top banner, under 24th June 2012. The iOSsociety promote "iArtists, iCEO's, iCreators, iDevelopers, iEducators, iPainters, iPhoneographers & iPadographers with passion" and so I am delighted that my work within education has been featured. The iOSsociety spotted my work via a tweet that was sent by Fabric Lenny and was then retweeted by a few mobile digital artists throughout the world including Benjamin Rabe (Germany) and Mia Robinson (USA) ....so thank you to Fabric Lenny and to everyone who has shared my work! More information on this project can be found on the Project Blog.
Scholes Photography Project
I am currently delivering a very exciting project at Scholes J&I School where I am working with Y5 pupils to explore their school through creative photography using mobile devices such as iPod Touchs, iPhones and iPads. The children have been seeking out interesting and unusual angles from which to take their photos and have found themselves on top of apparatus, on the floor, on chairs, bending down, stretching up and peering around corners and through windows in order to capture intriguing images. The children have been fantastic and are developing a fascinating library of images which will feed into a framed montage print to be displayed in the school beyond the project. More information can be found on the Kirklees Arts4All website, plus here are some images I have captured throughout the project so far...

Mini King and Queen Canvasses for the 154 Exhibition
Whilst collating all the work I have created over the last four months for the upcoming 154 Exhibition I came across these lovely images from a recent workshop led by Fabric Lenny at Birdwell Primary School, Barnsley. These images are from of selection which I captured to document the children designing and creating their Canvas Kings and Queens which will be exhibited as part of the 154 Exhibition, launching on 2nd June at the Cooper Gallery, Barnsley.

Snow Monkey Stand Off!!
Here is a montage image I captured at the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie, Scotland. The images were captured on the iPhone and processed on the iPad. I captured hundreds of images at the Wildlife Park, over a few days, but this particular image stood out for me..... the Snow Monkeys were wonderful!

154 Journeys
As part of the work I am developing during my involvement with the 154 Collective I am producing digital images using my iPhone and iPad along the theme of Journeys, focused around communities within Barnsley and Newham. I am currently working on a number of
images that I recently captured during a Road Trip to Newham including these images from Upton Park Station. Each image was captured
on my iPhone and has been processed entirely on my iPad.

Beyond The Windows at the LBT
Through my continuing exploration of the Lawrence Batley Theatre, as part of my artists residency, I have recently been capturing images that reflect views beyond the Theatre Windows. Here are a few of my favourites, each of which have been captured on the iPhone and processed entirely on my iPad.
